This historic park is the second-oldest in New Orleans (Jackson Square is the oldest). It was named after a french aristocrat who fought alongside the Americans in the Revolutionary War, and contains stautes of both Benjamin Franklin and John McDonogh. This park plays host to large events such as outdoor music concerts and festivals, including Luna FĂȘte in December and the Wednesdays at the Square concert series in the spring.
