Confederate Memorial Hall Museum

929 Camp St Central Business District

The oldest continuously-operated museum in Louisiana, the Civil War museum at Memorial Hall contains a vast collection of personal memorabilia and artifacts from both sides of the Civil War. The museum building itself is a massive architectural marvel with old-world castle-style brick and design, but with beautiful stained glass windows. It is often referred to as the "Battle Abbey of the South" because of its unique design.
